Our team of dental professionals are here to assist our patients in learning more about their oral health.
Lori

Lori owes her interest in dental hygiene to a special person: her dental hygienist! With such a strong source of inspiration, Lori went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Loma Linda University in 2001. Before embarking on a more than 20-year career in dental hygiene, Lori worked as a dental assistant for three years. Like those professionals before her, Lori loves to serve as an inspiration for her wonderful patients by educating them on how to achieve optimum oral health.
When not at the office, Lori can be found spending time with her family, playing with the family’s dog, and scrapbooking.
Faith

For 17 years, Faith has applied her dental assisting knowledge and skills to help people smile with confidence. She first built that knowledge at UEI College. After earning her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Certification in 2003, Faith would work for three years before taking on a Lead RDA role.
In addition to instilling confidence among her patients, Faith loves never knowing who will walk through the door next. She is energized by constantly meeting new people, and nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing how happy patients are at the end of their appointments.
In her free time, Faith is busy! She thrives off of being around family, being outdoors, and staying active with paddle-boarding, camping, and hiking.
Dorothy

After more than 30 years’ experience in the medical field, Dorothy transitioned to dentistry to expand her knowledge base. And, she is fulfilling a longtime curiosity; Dorothy always enjoyed the medical and dental billing aspects of her career. She was further motivated to help people navigate the tricky and hard-to-understand corners of the insurance and benefits world.
A Cal State, San Bernardino alumna, Dorothy enjoys most the ability to serve patients. She knows how important it is to understand and explain the complexities of insurance in a way everybody can understand. She is also a passionate “sun enthusiast,” and enjoys spending time (on the beach or baking and cooking) with her two amazing kids and four equally amazing grandkids.
Emily

A self-professed fitness addict and Spartan Race devotee, Emily can be found racing around the front office and assisting patients with their dental needs at Scola Family Dentistry. Though Emily got her start on the clinical side of the industry. She completed dental assistant training through the Red Cross in Hawaii in the late 1990s. After moving out of state, Emily landed a position in the front office at a dental practice. This aspect of operations stuck.
The mother of two actually has 15 years of customer service experience (10 years in dental) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management degree.
Jennifer

Jennifer quite literally grew up in the dental field. Jennifer’s mom, who worked in dentistry since she was 18, would bring her daughter to work. It was during these trips that Jennifer really got interested in teeth, and it seemed that everything related to dentistry was second nature to her. She would graduate from Kaplan College as a Dental Assistant in 2013. A year later, Jennifer earned her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
During the past seven years, Jennifer has been happiest when she can bring a smile to her patients’ faces and can help them accomplish their goals. When she’s not in the office, Jennifer can be found outside. She enjoys walking her dog, Maggie, and hiking. In the summer, she’s at the beach. In the winter, she’s on the slopes (snowboarding).
Alexis

For Alexis, her source of career inspiration was none other than the pediatric dentist that was always such a comfort in childhood. And who always encouraged her to ask questions. So, even as a child, Alexis knew from these visits that dentistry was the profession for her. After completing pre-requisites at California State University San Marcos and Palomar Community College, Alexis earned her Associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Cerritos College.
Just as the dentist from her childhood did, Alexis enjoys helping patients with dental fears feel comfortable and instilling trust. She loves getting to know each person and listening to their stories. There is also great satisfaction from educating patients and seeing the results – their improved health!
Alexis and her high school sweetheart (now husband) live in Canyon Lake and spend most weekends on their boat or cruising around in their golf cart. While kids are on the horizon, their current “child” is Izzy, a 10-year-old Pomeranian.
